Until recently, industry e-learning awards internationally have focused on the best ‘package’, or stand-alone content designed for individualised self-paced delivery.

With the growing popularity of blended delivery, more awards are recognising excellence in facilitated e-learning, where the multimedia content is just one part of the design mix which can include collaborative online activities, online support, face-to-face group learning and work-based projects.

Viewing e-learning award-winners can be a useful way to check the state-of-the-art in delivery design as well as in interactive content development.
