Back to topWho's it for?
Our context is e-learning for competency-based VET in Australia - but you'll find lots here whatever kind of e-learning you're into. Our main focus is on designing for delivery, to help you with planning and presenting a course using e-learning tools and materials. You'll also find the samples, designs and ideas useful if you are developing e-learning materials.
So, you can use the site to:
- get your bearings - enjoy a visual tour of how e-learning works
- get started - find examples, practical tips and strategies you can try
- get ideas - look for new tricks to add to your e-learning repertoire
- get guidance - find clear, practical info on specific strategies
- get the gear - find out where to get materials, software, tools, etc
- get together - use our samples in your professional development or training sessions.
Gallery of Strategies
We've arranged the Gallery around the key tasks in designing and delivering courses - organising the content , preparing the learning activities, providing learner support and arranging assessment.
The gallery has a detailed teaching guide for each strategy, including:
- click-and-view samples from a range of industry areas
- details of each sample (where from, which course etc)
- advice on when to use the strategy
- the practical steps involved, and any skills or tools you need
- links to other useful resources.
Some of the Gallery samples are learning objects you can obtain and re-use.
